Schedule
Starting September 3rd, the following
Black Hills State University class will be offered at the Indian University of
North America at Crazy Horse Memorial for the Fall 2008 semester.
The class is Traditional Lakota Arts AIS 143, and will meet once a week from 4-7
p.m. each Wednesday through the fall semester. This course is 3 semester hours
and will enable the student to perform basic traditional art techniques such as
quillwork, beadwork, and feather-work. (Also offered as ART 143).
The instructor is Donovin Sprague of Rapid City,
an enrolled Minnicoujou Lakota, and adjunct instructor in undergraduate and
graduate studies for Black Hills State University in American Indian Studies,
political science, education, history & art.
Students have until September 2, 2008 to enroll at
Crazy Horse Memorial.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will enable the
