2015 Commemorative Winchester Raffle Article

October 20, 2015 marked two special events at Crazy Horse Memorial. The first being Korczak Remembrance Day, this day is the one time of the year in which visitors are given the opportunity to walk to the tomb of sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski (1908-1982) to pay their respects to him, his wife Ruth Ziolkowski, daughters Anne & Dawn and son-in-law James Howe, laid to rest in the family cemetery. This time of reflection as we move forward with Korczak & Ruth's vision

In honor of Korczak and Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation announces the winner of the Winchester raffle. This year’s gun was a Model 94 Winchester Lever Action Rifle 38-55 Caliber. This year’s winning ticket number was 3600 and went to Wayne Heilman of Clark, SD. Congratulations Wayne and thank you to everyone who participated in the 2015 raffle. All proceeds went to the Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation. Please stay tuned as we will be announcing the 2016 model information soon.
