Members of the Mountain Crew are able to work in various areas on Crazy Horse’s Hand, as long as they are not directly above one another. Here, the crew reaches to new heights…depths actually, using the “Denny” Drill specially designed to reach over the edge of the Mountain and drill either horizontally or vertically. The Crew Member wearing the green hardhat is operating the drill by remote control. Crew members in the distance use hand drills and channeling tools.
