Crazy Horse Mountain Carving has a striking stare from a distance. Separated by ¾ mile of Black Hills beauty, most visitors at Crazy Horse Memorial Visitor complex would find it hard to believe that they could lie down comfortably in Crazy Horse’s Eye (over 17 feet long)! Speaking of eyes – use yours to look close – can you see a scaffold, two large pieces of equipment with drills attached, the Manitou, the PAM drill and six of the Mountain Crew Members hard at work?
