Today is not just any #MountainMonday, it is Adam Ziolkowski’s birthday! Adam is number three of ten children born at Crazy Horse to sculptor Korczak and his wife Ruth. Growing up, Adam was a big help to Korczak on the Mountain Carving starting at a very young age. Today, Adam still helps with many aspects of the project, including rising before the sun to transport blast fragments from the Mountain to the donation rock box at the Visitor Center. Adam also carries a camera with him catching spectacular images – including this week’s post of the pickup he uses to haul the rock fragments.
